 We offer the St. Tropez tan application with full exfoliation and moisturising.

To ensure your tan is flawless and even, please follow this advice………………..

Pre-Treatment

· If you have sensitive skin or have not had a St.Tropez treatment before we recommend having a patch test at least 24 hours before treatment.

· Waxing or shaving should be carried out at least 24 hours prior to the treatment.

· The evening before your tan exfoliate and moisturise your entire body using St.Tropez products for best results (there are some products which may affect the outcome of the tan-please check). Pay special attention to dry areas such as the hands, elbows, knees and feet.

· On the day of the treatment DO NOT moisturise and preferably do not apply perfume, deodorant or aromatherapy oils.

· Wear dark, loose fitting clothing, preferably no bra. Please be aware that the guide colour can stain light hair, man-made fibres and wool.

The Treatment

The treatment takes around 10 minutes. The solution will dry on your skin in just a few minutes so you can dress straight after your treatment without rubbing the tan.

· When the face is being sprayed, close your eyes and do not inhale. If you suffer from respiratory problems please check with your doctor before booking a treatment.

Post-Treatment Advice

Your tan will begin to develop immediately after treatment.

· Do not shower or bathe for a minimum of 4 hours after treatment. Libra recommends 8 to 12 hours for best results.

· Do not wash your hands during this time. Use wipes on the palms only.

· Avoid activities which may cause perspiration before activation is completed.

· It is okay to leave the guide colour on overnight. Colour may come off on bed linen but as it is a naturally derived dye it will wash out of cotton, but not so easily from man-made fibres and wool.

Tan Maintenance Tips

· Do not rub, but pat your skin dry after showering or bathing.

· Apply St.Tropez moisturiser daily. This lotion contains l-Tyrosine which stimulates melanin in the skin ensuring your tan lasts longer. Many moisturisers contain AHAs which may affect your tan.

· Exfoliate with St.Tropez Polisher every 2-3 days to ensure the tan fades evenly.

Avoid swimming in pools as chlorine will bleach your tan.
